Bid structuring manager

GENERAL DESCRIPTIONResponsibility and leadership for the company's preparation of bids' processes in the upcoming offshore wind bids in which the company could be involved and current assets portfolio due diligence.

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES

* BID PREPARATION and COORDINATION - Responsible for the different bids that the company could be involved providing guidance and leading the coordination of the different departments involved (Permitting, Technical, Procurement, Finance, Tax, M&A ......), timings and deliverables to submit an optimal bid according to bid timeline and rules.
* ECONOMIC MODELLING and BUSINESS CASE OPTIMIZATION – Leadership for the economic modelling iterations and implementation of measures which contribute to an improvement of the overall bid competitiveness in order to maximize the likelihood of bid award. Development of necessary knowledge and benchmarks to be able to challenge the different areas providing inputs to the project and perform effective and continuous challenge over said areas in order to optimize and submit a robust bid.
* DTF MODELLING – Coordinate DTF(Data Transfer File) modellisation, tool which gathers different project specific inputs (Wind yield, Devex, Capex, Opex, Programme, Contingency....) and feeds into the Investment Analysis Model. Maintenance and upgrade of the DTF.
* BID STRATEGY – Responsible together with the area director for the implementation of the bid strategy defined by the Top Management.
* INTERNAL APPROVAL PROCESS – Responsible together with the area director in the coordination and leadership of company's internal approval processes prior to bid
* PROJECT PORTFOLIO DUE DILIGENCE – Support in the audit of the different projects already awarded to ensure continuous viability and robustness of the business case minimizing deviations and risks to be taken by the company.

ACADEMIC BACKGROUND

Degree in Engineering, Business Administration or Economics.

LANGUAGES

Fluent in English, other languages a plus.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

• At least 8 years in an industrial company in departments linked to projects optimization and execution or experience in strategy consulting in similar roles.• Experience in the Offshore wind sector a plus.

KNOWLEDGE

Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office package (especially Excel and PowerPoint), Power BI and SQL a plus.

* Excellent interpersonal capabilities to deal with colleagues of the same and above level.
* Problem solving and decision making.
* Proven capacity to deliver high-quality results under tight deadlines.
* Proficient analytical skills
