JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are part of Finance, Global Financial Services department.
The VAT and Supplier Income Recovery Manager will lead a team responsible for ensuring accurate VAT compliance and maximizing supplier income recovery opportunities for VCC suppliers. This role will oversee end-to-end processes related to VAT and Supplier Income supplier claims, and recovery audits, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies.
The position requires English conversational speaking skills, as the role requires recurrent engagement with stakeholders and suppliers to support them onsite, over the phone or by virtual meetings, as well as communication by email with suppliers and internal colleagues.
Responsibilities:
* Team Leadership: Manage and develop a team of 4 PTP Officers, providing guidance, training, and feedback.
* VAT Compliance: Oversee VAT recovery processes and support the reporting activities across multiple jurisdictions.
* Supplier Income Recovery: Drive initiatives to identify and recover supplier income invoices through audits, claims, and process improvements.
* Process Optimization: Implement best practices and automation to improve efficiency and accuracy in VAT and Supplier Income recovery workflows.
* Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with Finance, Commercial Teams, and Tax department to resolve discrepancies and ensure compliance. These include:
* Escalation of cases where challenges/errors have been identified,
* Provide and ask for feedback, clarifications and updates as needed
* Risk Management: Monitor regulatory changes and assess potential impacts on VAT and supplier recovery processes.

Experience
* Experience in the travel industry
* Tax invoices management experience is desirable.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field (CPA or equivalent preferred).
* Minimum 5 years of experience in PTP (Purchase to Pay) Processes, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
* Strong knowledge of international VAT regulations and recovery audit practices.
