Omega CRM Consulting is seeking a Backend and DevOps Developer to collaborate with a leading global pharmaceutical company.
We are looking for a highly skilled Backend and DevOps Developer (SRE) to support the deployment of our new CPM platform, including OneTrust UCPM, an AWS-based exclusion engine, and an enterprise API (AWS and OpenShift) across various countries such as the US and Europe.
Responsibilities
1. Deployment Support: Collaborate within a product team to facilitate the deployment of the CPM system across multiple countries.
2. Development and Enhancement: Specify, develop (using Python), unit test, package, document, and support solutions / APIs deployed on AWS and RedHat OpenShift for managing consents, preferences, and exclusions. Significant enhancements are required for the existing solution.
3. OneTrust Support & Integration: Maintain and configure the SaaS solution OneTrust UCPM and integrate it via APIs / workflows.
4. AWS Infrastructure: Support provisioning of AWS resources, designing, building, and deploying service configurations using Terraform for services like S3, Lambda, IAM, MWAA, ECS, Glue, and RDS.
5. Environment Maintenance: Ensure AWS and OpenShift environments are cost-efficient and operationally optimal, with monitoring for events / incidents.
6. Testing: Participate in testing activities, including automation, integration, and end-to-end testing.
7. Support: Handle daily support tasks, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
8. Project Management: Engage in agile Scrum ceremonies, refine user stories, document processes, and collaborate with global teams for timely delivery.
9. CI / CD Pipelines: Configure pipelines to automate deployment of releases to higher environments.
Skills / Experience
1. Language Proficiency: Fluent in English with strong communication skills; proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
2. AWS Expertise: Hands-on experience with AWS services (S3, Lambda, MWAA, ECS, Glue, RDS, API Gateway), especially Infrastructure as Code with Terraform.
3. Programming: Proficiency in Python.
4. DevOps Practices: Experience with CI / CD, Jenkins, Git, Docker, Kubernetes, and version control management.
5. Experience: 3-4 years in a similar role, capable of managing conflicts, challenging stakeholders, and focusing on overarching goals.
6. OpenShift Experience: Practical experience with RedHat OpenShift.
7. Additional Skills: Experience with Go language and the Atlassian stack (Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence).
8. Mindset & Adaptability: Proactive, autonomous, transparent, customer-focused, meticulous, and adaptable to new technologies and situations.
