Business Development PM, Translation Services Operations

Key job responsibilities
This role requires experience in localization, business development, and program management.
* Create plans and proposals for customer localization teams
* Analyze localization data to identify patterns and insights related to volume, quality, cost, turnaround time, and productivity
* Define use cases for automation, conduct testing
* Create roadmaps, coordinate with peers, and update leadership with reports
* Maintain cross-team processes, such as rules and algorithms for quality checks
* Improve TER-based metrics and customer-facing quotation workflows
* Develop project plans, manage time, budget, resources, and quality
* Manage localization projects end-to-end, collaborating with language specialists, internal teams, vendors, and other departments
* Set up projects in proprietary CAT tools, resolve related issues, and address knowledge gaps
* Collaborate with stakeholders on terminology, language quality, and workflow issues
* Identify and mitigate project risks proactively
* Conduct post-mortem analyses and document lessons learned
* Maintain localization process documentation

* Update customers on project status and next steps
* Work with quality, capacity, and workflow experts to solve problems and improve processes
* Align with peers on customer priorities and strategies
* Participate in cross-customer improvement programs
* Report on key KPIs
* Address questions from customers and stakeholders
* Create and review plans for customers and programs
* Train yourself and others, share knowledge
About the team

* Bachelor's degree
* Advanced knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) and SQL
* Experience in program or project management
* Experience working cross-functionally with tech and non-tech teams
* Experience in process improvement initiatives using data and metrics
* Experience defining program requirements and implementing improvements
* Experience in localization and business development
* Experience managing end-to-end delivery and reporting to senior leadership
* Experience leading process improvements
* Stakeholder management experience across organizational levels
* Proficiency in process building, project management, and scheduling
