Our Central Marketing Localization team is seeking a Project Manager eager to contribute to this exciting endeavour allowing us to speak to customers around the globe!
This role will be responsible for the successful delivery of localized assets for Amazon Originals marketing campaign. This involves overseeing processing of required assets from third-party production facilities through Amazon’s contracted vendors for localization, mastering and delivery, and ensuring global release timetables are met. You will be responsible for keeping vendors and regional contacts up-to-date as creative materials are finalized, tracking localization progress, organizing assets for final delivery to content publishing, troubleshooting upstream or downstream rejections, and assessing and acting on customer feedback.
Key job responsibilities
* Project Leadership: Lead project execution, managing timelines, resources, and quality control to ensure milestones and deliverables meet our high standards and stakeholder expectations.
* Data Management & Reporting: Manage the project data lifecycle, from collection to analysis, ensuring accuracy and relevance. Utilize analytics to derive insights that support project objectives. Develop and present detailed reports on quality metrics, resource allocation, and vendor performance, ensuring clarity in communication for both internal and external stakeholders.
* Vendor Management: Oversee vendor training, monitor performance against metrics and SLAs, and conduct regular performance reviews.
* Operational Excellence: Promote best practices in QC and reporting, enhancing operational systems and workflows. This includes the creation and maintenance of SOPs and Style Guides.
* Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to define project requirements, provide updates, and gather feedback, ensuring alignment and satisfaction.
* Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential project risks to ensure seamless execution and delivery.
A day in the life
You will liaise between current production and third-party localization vendors on work related to the translation/adaptation, casting, recording, and versioning of Amazon Originals marketing campaigns for global release. You will help to streamline and achieve alignment across a variety of global vendors as well as internal teams (including Mastering, Strategy, Post, and Production). You will work with Localization Billing staff to track and monitor expenditures for localization related work.
You will manage a heavily administrative day-to-day while also collaborating and contributing to process planning and rollouts for future growth potential and efficiency.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
* Previous project management experience.
* Proficient in data management and reporting tools.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing stakeholders at all levels.
* Experience processing and analyzing significant data volumes.
* Experience in one of the following areas: quality control, localization, technology
* Experience working for a creative agency or entertainment studio.
