Manufacturing Quality Assurance Engineer – Schneider Electric

Responsibilities
* Optimizes the manufacturing processes and helps in developing a unified and strong supplier management.
* Integrates supply chain actors and leverages opportunities created by upstream and downstream linkages with a focus on creating value and improving customer satisfaction.
* Guarantee the application of Schneider quality policy and respect of customer requirements in terms of technical quality and service level.
* Manage the Quality Management System of the entity.
* Manage customer complaints (internal and external): alert, support and escalate customer satisfaction issues (products/services) if they are not fulfilled.
* Manage logistics quality: it covers quality related activities inside the logistics centre and between factories and suppliers.
* Ensure robustness of picking, packing, and reception processes (as a result of implementing Process Control Chart, FMEA, Poka Yoke, etc.).
* Logistic problem management: issue to prevention management, using warm loop and 8D cold loop methodologies, with CS&Q related processes.
What will you do?
Take any necessary actions to ensure that a product or service satisfies customer requirements and drive continuous quality improvement.
* Manage customer complaints and returns, ensuring timely resolution and root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
* Monitor and analyze key quality indicators (KPIs: DCR, NQC, etc.) and drive improvement actions.
* Lead containment actions, root cause analysis of quality issues and problem solving using methodologies such as 5 Whys, 8D/PRB, DMAIC, Lean 6 Sigma.
* Lead process audits and process FMEAs.
* Create and maintain quality control documentation, and ensure related training and application.
* Monitor logistics processes for conformance to control plans and internal customer requirements (internal audits).
* Manage derogations with the derogation platform.
* Lead continuous improvement on logistics processes.
* Be a member of the Short Interval Management (SIM).
* Provide inputs and challenge on quality for new evolution (PMP and PEP), contribute to process/control capability implementation.
* Develop and implement SPC activities and adopt new techniques as they become available.
* Develop a new methodology called Quality Fundamentals.

If you are:
* Fluent in English and Spanish, written and spoken. French or/and Catalan is a plus.
* Ability to support and/or lead root cause analysis, disciplined problem-solving and decision-making processes.
* Ability to solve problems and exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.
* Proven leadership, interpersonal skills and personal development skills.
* Detail-oriented, analytical, and proactive, with strong communication skills, a continuous improvement mindset, and the ability to collaborate across teams in a dynamic logistics environment.
