Overview
We seek a Technology Value Realization Specialist to join our Technology Strategy & Planning Department (TSPD).
TSPD's mission is to lead and support across the technology lifecycle, from strategy to value realization and sustainable growth, working with stakeholders to integrate new technologies into strategies and investments.
Your main role involves leading the corporate stage-gate and value realization processes, ensuring effective implementation, governance, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the deployment of the Technology Realized Value (TRV) KPI validation and reporting across the company, collaborating with upstream, downstream, finance, and technology units.
* Manage and oversee the technology stage-gate process, facilitating R&D, technology development, demonstration, deployment, and transition to operations for value realization.
* Lead scientists, engineers, and specialists to de-risk projects and make go / no-go decisions, ensuring technical and commercial readiness.
* Advise project teams on business case development, deployment, and value strategies, partnering to optimize financial and strategic outcomes.
* Assess and ensure compliance with technology stage-gate practices and standards company-wide.
* Collaborate with R&D and other stakeholders to align processes and support smooth technology adoption.
* Provide expert guidance on business case, IP, commercial strategy, deployment, and techno-economic analysis.
Minimum Qualifications :
* Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering; an MBA or Finance degree is highly desirable.
* At least 10 years of professional experience, including 5+ in commercial technology development and value realization, preferably in oil & gas or related industries.
* Subject matter expertise, business acumen, and change management skills.
* Experience with Project and Portfolio Management systems (e.g., Planisware, Clarity).
* Proven ability to work with multicultural, cross-functional teams and develop effective relationships.
* Experience with Operational Excellence processes and continuous improvement.
