System Analyst, Marketplace Recruitment & Dev
We are looking for mid-senior System Analysts with a strong technical background. Do you have a passion for using data in order to drive business actions? Are you experienced in reporting and advanced SQL techniques, analytical problem-solving, and data visualization?
This is an amazing opportunity if you are keen to improve current reporting solutions and innovate by creating new and simpler ones, providing the Marketplace business with robust automated insights.
In this role, you will help identify, track, and manage Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), partner with internal and external program teams to identify root causes of spikes or plummets in key metrics while carrying on mid-term to long-term projects to improve our services, processes, and tools, and communicate with tech, program, and product teams.

1. Simplify and automate reporting while building data solutions to have maximum scale, self-service ability by stakeholders, and improve productivity.

4. Effectively collaborate in a fast-paced environment with multiple teams in a large organization.
About the team
Over 2 million Sellers in 10 countries list their products for sale on the Amazon Marketplace. Sellers are a critical part of Amazon’s ecosystem to deliver on our vision of offering the Earth’s largest selection and lowest prices. These Sellers offer hundreds of millions of unique products providing a broad and diverse inventory of products from Books, Electronics, and Apparel to Consumables and beyond. In our vision to build a global marketplace, we will enable Sellers to list and make their selection available to customers globally while optimizing their inventory placement across multiple countries. The EU 3P Compliance organization enables Sellers to sell on Amazon’s EU Marketplaces in a compliant manner, adhering to EU legislative requirements across Tax, Trade, EPR (Extended Producer Responsibility), and Product Compliance.
Minimum Requirements
1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
2. Proficient with SQL.
3. Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to build reports and metrics for business insights.
4. Experience working with stakeholders to document data and operational processes.
5. Familiarity with database types and data models.
6. Experience with data visualization using Quicksight or similar tools and Excel (pivot tables, array functions, power pivots, etc.).
Preferred Qualifications
1. Master's degree or equivalent.
2. Experience as a business analyst, data analyst, or similar role.
3. Proficiency with Python.
4. Proficiency with Amazon Technologies: AWS S3, RS, Lambda.
