As an Account Specialist, you will be responsible for fostering close relationships with customers by actively providing business suggestions and recommendations to enhance their profitability. You will provide customers with information related to Desigual’s products, services, promotions, sales guides (VM, KPIs, Sell-outs tools), marketing actions, and other relevant details to facilitate effective selling across various sales channels, aiming to increase sales and profitability for both the clients and Desigual.

Master Data: Ensure customer master data is accurate and properly maintained by setting up new accounts, updating commercial & financial information, and cancelling existing accounts when needed.

What are we looking for?

* Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related fields; Master’s degree is a plus.
* Proven experience in account management or similar roles, preferably in fashion or retail.
* Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
* Analytical mindset with data interpretation skills.
* SAP knowledge.
* Excellent verbal and written skills in Italian.
* Effective problem-solving skills and proactive attitude.

Main Responsibilities

* Account Management: Manage orders and returns by processing, modifying, and following up to ensure timely delivery, reviewing mismatches, and approving discrepancies. Prepare, modify, and follow up on invoices.
* Collections: Ensure timely invoice payments, follow up on overdue accounts, claim overdue amounts, and request refunds when applicable. Obtain guarantees or prepayments before shipments.
* Deliveries: Ensure on-time deliveries, fulfill payment requirements, issue proformas, and claim past dues.
* Promotions and Marketing: Coordinate marketing campaigns for key accounts and ensure brand messaging is clear.
* Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, collaborate with logistics, and ensure product availability.
* Data Analysis: Maintain accurate account information, match line items, and send reconciliation statements.
* Problem Solving: Identify and resolve disputes in commercial, financial, or logistic processes, aiming to minimize defaults and maximize overdue collections.
