Descripción de puesto brAt Ferrovial Digital Infrastructure (FDI), we specialize in the development of data center assets, from powered-land search and acquisition to DC design, construction, operation maintenance, and we are always looking for the most efficient and sustainable solutions. brFDI has acquired a land plot for the development of a Data Center, and we are seeking an experienced and strategic Engineering PM to overview, coordinate and manage the project, construction, and engineering as well as to provide direction, analysis and resolution of engineering challenges for our future facility in Madrid. brThe role may require assistance to FDI Projects Development Team within the Business Development and Strategy related activities. brThe ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing large-scale construction projects from an engineering angle with focus on data centers, critical infrastructure, and technical facilities. brWe are looking for a Project Manager (PM) to lead and manage data center projects in Spain, within the data center development team belonging to Ferrovial Digital Infrastructures. The person will be responsible for establishing and maintaining project management standards, ensuring compliance with deadlines, costs and quality, and supporting the Head of Projects Development in the execution of projects, fully aligned with FDI strategy including cutting-edge sustainable and innovative solutions brThis role requires a person experienced in the management and coordination of projects in the preconstruction, construction, ready for service, and delivery to the end customer phases of large-scale data center projects brRequirements: brMinimum demonstrable experience of 10 years as a Project Manager, preferably at least 3-5 of them in data centre projects. brKnowledge of the data centre project lifecycle. brPMP, PRINCE2 or similar certification (desirable). brExcellent communication and leadership skills. brProficient in project management tools (MS Project, Primavera, Jira, etc.). brAbility to solve problems and make effective decisions. brThe following would be an asset. brPrevious experience in critical or mission critical environments. brKnowledge of technical regulations applicable to Data Centres. brExperience in international or multicultural environments. Key Responsibilities: brDevelop detailed project plans, including scope, schedule and budget. brEstablish and maintain project management methodologies, tools and templates. brSupport the supervision of Ferrovial Digital Infraestructures portfolio of Data Centre projects, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives. brReporting to the Head of Projects Development, on the status of the projects under development, with details on progress, costs, risks, deviations, change orders, among others. brPreparation of executive reports and dashboards for Head of Projects Development. brIdentify risks and propose mitigation plans. brCoordinate multidisciplinary teams in the development of projects (engineering, general contractor, contractors, IT, operations, administration, including substation works, and power). brEnsure compliance with local regulations and international standards. brCoordinate with the rest of the project development team in the Digital Infrastructure division. brCoordinate internal and external resources for the execution of projects. brEnsure the availability and appropriate allocation of resources. brMonitor project progress and make adjustments where necessary. brManage the relationship with clients and all stakeholders. brPerform risk management and formulate contingency plans. brConduct project status reporting and communicate progress to management. brEnsure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget. brFoster a positive and collaborative working environment. brEstablish and maintain project management methodologies, tools and templates. brReporting to the Head of Projects Development, on the status of the projects under development, with details on progress, costs, risks, deviations, change orders, among others. brPreparation of executive reports and dashboards to support Head of Projects Development. brProvide qualified input to inform and update the CAPEX and associated cash flows understanding impacts associated with decision making process during preconstruction phase, and in the same way inform and update the variations orders that could be possible during the construction. brAnalysis of suppliers' offers and detailed benchmark. brAssist in developing capital project programs and budgets for new critical equipment and major repairs.
