As a Backend Engineer, you’ll help build polished user experiences, highly scalable APIs, and robust financial services, contributing to a product designed to become the go-to finance solution for businesses across Europe.
You’ll join a large, distributed backend engineering community and work within cross‑functional teams alongside product managers, frontend, and mobile engineers. You’ll play a key role in shaping core financial products, supporting a rapidly growing user base, and delivering high‑quality solutions in a fast‑paced environment.
What You’ll Do
* Design, develop, deploy, and maintain backend services aligned with team and business goals
* Write clean, well‑documented, production‑grade code
* Contribute to service architecture, resilience, scalability, and robustness using Domain‑Driven Design principles
* Participate in technical decision‑making and mentor other engineers as you grow in technical leadership
* Frontend: React.js
* Messaging & Observability: Kafka, ELK stack, and other modern tools

* Collaborative accounting and pre‑accounting solutions
Each team typically includes 6–8 backend engineers and owns its product scope end to end.
