As the Global FCC Systems & Controls Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end design, implementation, and optimization of our financial crime technology stack. You will ensure that our system controls (ranging from on-chain and off-chain transaction monitoring to automated KYC/KYB) are robust, scalable, and compliant with global standards (e.g., MiCA, Travel Rule, and local VASP regulations). You will act as the primary SME for our global FCC vendors.
Key Responsibilities
* System Architecture & Implementation: Lead the integration of all FCC-related systems (KYC, KYB, Transaction Monitoring, Travel Rule, KYT, and Sanctions Screening) into the company’s core platform.
* Vendor Ecosystem Management: Own the full lifecycle (selection, configuration, implementation and periodic review) of the FCC vendor stack. This includes KYT & Blockchain Analytics; Identity Verification (ID&V); Watchlist & Sanctions; Travel Rule Solutions.
* Threshold Tuning & Optimization: Periodically \"tune\" the system rules to balance the mitigation of financial crime risk with the reduction of false positives, ensuring operational efficiency for the L1/L2 teams.
* Control Testing & Assurance: Perform regular \"stress tests\" on compliance systems (e.g., testing if the sanctions filter catches a modified name or if the blockchain tool flags a known high-risk mixer).
* Data Integrity & Reporting: Ensure the accuracy of FCC data for regulatory reporting (SARs/STRs) and internal KPIs. Work with Engineering to build automated compliance dashboards.
* New Product Readiness: Lead the \"technical compliance\" review for new product launches (e.g., adding a new blockchain, launching a bridge, or integrating a DeFi protocol).
Key Qualifications
* 5+ years in FCC/Compliance, with at least 2 years managing compliance systems and vendor integrations in a Crypto Exchange, Crypto Payment, or other types of Web3 firm.
* Strong hands-on capability in Blockchain Analytics (Chainalysis KYT/Reactor, Elliptic, etc), TM, KYC/KYB and Travel Rule vendor system configuration, and API-based integrations for multiple jurisdictions.
* Prior FCC Systems & Controls experience in crypto exchange, payments, or traditional financial services is highly preferred.
* Chinese language proficiency (Mandarin) would be a strong plus.
* CAMS certification is preferred. Candidates with a CAMS-Virtual Assets (CAMS-VA) or ICA International Diploma in Financial Crime Prevention will be given priority.
