Job Description:
Our client is seeking an ambitious leader to develop and oversee the commercial performance of their international brands, reporting directly to the Managing Director. As the Commercial Director, you will shape and execute the commercial strategy to drive business success by leading strategic planning and ensuring leadership teams focus on delivering the company plan. The role involves driving revenue growth, expanding market presence, and fostering strategic partnerships.
You will work closely with various teams in a matrix organization, including Commercial, Tech, Product, Customer Services, Operations, and Venues, to identify issues and develop actionable plans to address them. A deep understanding of the digital gambling market, strong leadership skills, and a successful track record in marketing are essential. The ideal candidate will be innovative, analytical, and results-oriented.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement the commercial strategy to meet business goals and revenue targets for all brands.
* Identify and evaluate new market opportunities and revenue streams.
* Oversee market research and competitor analysis to inform decisions.
* Manage the commercial budget, ensuring cost efficiency and financial performance, collaborating with finance for reporting and insights.
* Manage pricing strategies, promotions, and customer acquisition costs, analyzing KPIs to optimize revenue.
* Cultivate a high-performance workplace culture.
* Innovate outside current scope to attract new customers and increase market share.
* Oversee customer research budgets and outputs to maintain a customer-centric approach.
* Develop and manage marketing budgets, monitor expenditures, and analyze campaign performance.
* Utilize data analytics to measure and improve campaign ROI.
* Create an environment that promotes quick learning and career development.
* Lead, mentor, and inspire a team to execute the digital strategic business plan.
* Foster collaboration within the team and with external stakeholders.
* Establish partnerships with stakeholders, influencers, and affiliates to expand reach.
* Ensure customer feedback informs future strategies.
* Contribute to the delivery of the P&L as a key member of the leadership team.
Requirements:
* Minimum 5+ years in a senior or C-level role within Commercial/Marketing in B2C iGaming operators, preferably Bingo.
* Experience in iGaming operations within the Spanish market.
* Proven success managing an iGaming brand P&L and driving revenue growth.
* Broad experience across digital gaming functions (CRM, Marketing, Content, Product).
* Experience in a matrix management structure across multiple territories.
* Exceptional leadership, collaboration, and communication skills, with an analytical mindset.
* Financial acumen with experience managing budgets and performance.
* Strong interpersonal skills and ability to lead cross-functional groups.
* Creative thinker passionate about innovation and improvement.
* Customer-focused with attention to detail.
* Knowledge of industry regulations and responsible gaming practices.
* Proficiency in Spanish and English.
