Job Description
We are seeking a professional subtitler to translate from English into Basque for film, television, streaming, and gaming titles.
Qualifications
- Native fluency in Basque and extensive knowledge of English.
- University degree or equivalent experience in translation.
- Experience in localization QC, audiovisual translation, or subtitling.
- Deep understanding of subtitling nuances, cultural differences, and best practices for subtitle and dub audio creation.
- Knowledge of closed captioning, subtitling standards, and common technical challenges.
- Proficiency with subtitle editing software and web/cloud technology.
- Ability to adapt quickly to workflow changes, strong attention to detail, organization, problem‑solving, and multitasking skills.
- Must sign an NDA before starting the recruitment process.
