AXON Networks is looking for a Telecommunications Algorithms Engineer to join our team as an Algorithms & Data Analyst Developer. You’ll work on cutting-edge solutions for global ISPs like DT, Telefónica, and Bouygues, improving access networks, WiFi management, and E2E software.
The Telecommunications Algorithms Engineer plays a key role in the design and development of AXON Networks products focused on access and WiFi technologies. You'll leverage your technical expertise in algorithms and PON/WiFi systems throughout the entire release process, including data analysis, algorithm definition, documentation, implementation, testing, and bug fixing.

Responsibilities:
* Provide expert support for AXON Networks product features.
* Design, develop, and refine algorithms, including troubleshooting and bug fixing.
* Drive innovation in managing access networks, setting the direction for next-generation software solutions for network access technologies.
* Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver transformative products that meet the needs of global ISPs.
Requirements:
Technical Skills
* Master’s in Telecommunications or related field (PhD is a plus).
* Experience working on physical layer of communication systems.
* Knowledge of communication systems and statistical processing.
* Knowledge of copper (DSL), fiber (PON), or Wi-Fi technologies is desirable.
* Experience in collection, test definition, analysis, and reporting of data, etc. in lab/production environments.
* Experience with database languages such as SQL/MongoDB.
* Experience in control version systems, as GIT.
* Experience in Java software development.
* Experience in algorithm analysis
* Familiarity with Linux (as user) as well as programming in scripting languages like Python.
* Familiarity with data mining and machine learning algorithms
