Software Development Engineer II, AWS Web Toolkit, Platform ExperienceThis role is to develop highly-scalable, high performance, and secure platform libraries, frameworks, services that can impact thousands of AWS builders and millions of customers worldwide.Key job responsibilities* Collaborate closely with product owners and engineering leaders on building multi-year roadmap, deciding key priorities, identifying new areas of investment to significantly boost our AWS developer experience and productivity.
* Work with other senior engineers to design, build, and operate robust, highly scalable, high performance platform services that form the backbone of AWS Platform Experience architecture.
* Work and master wide range of technologies in the stack, ranging from serverless computing (Lamdba, Fargate), networking (WAF, ALB, LBR), micro services (API Gateway), micro frontend architecture (AWS Web Toolkit), NoSQL database (DynamoDB).A day in the lifeA day of SDE II (AWT, Platform Experience) is a thrilling blend of deep technical problem-solving and high-impact innovation.

The base pay for this position ranges from $129,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,600/year in our highest geographic market.
Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
