What you will do
1. Work as a key member of the technical support team, providing senior-level technical knowledge, mentoring, and consulting on complex issues.
2. Collaborate with the development engineering team to track engineering escalations, bugs, and feature requests.
3. Develop technical troubleshooting sessions, trainings, and guides for internal CRE team members.
4. Create, review, and maintain internal knowledge base articles.
5. Triage and document bugs and enhancement requests identified in the field and through reproduction.
6. Coordinate with the Escalation Management team on high-touch, hot accounts.
What you will bring
1. Reporting to the Director of Customer Reliability.
2. 5+ years of experience as a senior technical support, escalation resource, team lead, or in a similar role within enterprise environments (container management, cloud management, cloud security).
3. Master-level experience with Kubernetes and Linux.
4. Extensive knowledge of scripting languages such as Bash, Shell, or Python.
5. Deep understanding of public cloud providers and their services, including AWS, Azure, GCP, Oracle Cloud, and IBM Cloud.
6. Ability to handle multiple challenges simultaneously.
Additional desired skills
1. Working knowledge of Cassandra, Elasticsearch, and/or Kafka.
2. Experience with Systems Management technologies.
3. Hands-on experience with PaaS tools or other cloud management software.
4. Experience in application integration.
5. Fluent in English, with excellent communication skills for internal and external stakeholders.
