Position: Business Development Manager – Germany / DACH

Sector: Automotive Industry / Engineering Solutions

Location: Spain or DACH Region (Germany preferred)

Compensation: >
€ (fixed salary + performance-based variable + benefits)

From G-NIO Executive Partners, a boutique firm specialized in Executive Search and M&A; advisory, we are currently partnering with a highly specialized Spanish engineering company delivering advanced industrial solutions to OEM automotive companies.

The company develops and manufactures high-value capital equipment integrated into production lines, serving industries where surface quality, finishing processes and industrial inspection are mission-critical.

We are looking for a Business Development Manager with strong experience in technical B2B environments and deep knowledge of the German industrial ecosystem.

This role will lead business development activities across Germany and the DACH region, with full responsibility for market expansion, key account development, and strategic growth.

Main Responsibilities

- Develop and implement the commercial strategy for Germany and the DACH region.
- Identify and generate new business opportunities within OEMs and industrial manufacturers.
- Manage complex, consultative sales cycles involving engineering, production and procurement stakeholders.
- Build long-term relationships with key decision-makers in industrial environments.
- Drive market intelligence and identify strategic growth opportunities.
- Coordinate closely with technical and project teams to ensure solution alignment and successful implementation.
- Represent the company at industry trade fairs and sector-specific events.

- Automotive OEMs or Tier suppliers
- Home appliances / white goods manufacturing
- Industrial machinery manufacturing
- Surface treatment, coating or paint finishing systems
- Automated inspection systems / industrial vision solutions
- Production line equipment / turnkey industrial solutions
- Industrial automation and robotics
- Capital goods suppliers to OEM manufacturing plants

Requirements

- Proven experience in technical B2B sales within industrial or OEM-driven environments.
- Strong knowledge of the German (DACH) industrial market.
- Advanced or bilingual level of German and English (both mandatory).
- Residence within the DACH region.
- Demonstrated ability to sell engineered, high-value technical solutions.
- Strategic mindset combined with hands-on execution.
- Availability to travel frequently within Germany and internationally.
