About the role
DP World is seeking an experienced System & Process Manager ( Air & Ocean Freight) to support the development of operational and digital capabilities across our Freight Forwarding Products. This role plays a central part in driving continuous improvement through effective system usage and acts as a key connector between Business teams (Products, Operations, Air & Ocean) and IT. The position ensures that system enhancements, integrations, and digitalization initiatives are delivered efficiently, collaboratively, and in alignment with business needs.
How you will contribute
- Serve as the primary interface between Product teams (Air, Ocean) and IT to support operating systems, processes, and related enhancements or user requirements.
- Lead business integration activities for newly acquired companies and collaborate closely with PMI teams.
- Drive solution design for Air & Ocean Freight systems to support integration of new entities.
- Translate business needs into IT developments, prepare Business Request forms, and identify system gaps.
- Provide business expertise to guide system development and ensure alignment with operational needs.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization to reduce cost, manage risk, and improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Deliver training to superusers and support the transition to the defined standard TMS.
- Coordinate and lead UATs for standard TiAB.
- Review standard procedures and training materials, adapting them to local needs when required.
What you will bring
- Extensive experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or regulated supply chain environments, with strong knowledge of Air & Ocean processes and TMS systems.
- A solid background (10+ years) in logistics and technology/IT, including program or project management in complex, multi‐stakeholder environments.
- Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem‐solving skills, with the ability to translate business needs into system requirements.
- Experience in process engineering, continuous improvement methodologies, and performance management.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and gain buy‐in across diverse teams.
- Fluency in English and German; additional languages such as Dutch or French are an asset.
- Willingness to travel internationally (30–50%) to support on‐site audits, integrations, and operational needs.
