Job TitleBSC AI Factory Project Marketing and Communication Coordinator
OverviewThe Barcelona Supercomputing Center seeks a Marketing and Communication Coordinator to lead marketing and communication activities for key research, innovation, and industrial projects within the BSC AI Factory initiative. This role defines and updates the marketing and communication strategy, oversees WP8 budget, coordinates internal and external contributors, and ensures quality and alignment with project objectives.
Key Duties
Define and update the BSC AI Factory Marketing and Communication Strategy (D8.1) aligned with objectives, milestones, and stakeholder expectations.
Conduct and update stakeholder mapping, target analysis, and positioning activities for BSC AI Factory outputs.
Ensure strategy compliance with EU, industry, or institutional requirements and branding guidelines.
Coordinate and lead WP8 deliverables and contribute to EC periodic reports.
Oversee and manage the communication and marketing budget, including supplier and agency management.
Provide guidelines to partners and contributors to align with marketing goals.
Coordinate the marketing and communication team, assign priorities, manage timelines, and monitor progress.
Act as liaison between project partners, technical teams, and the central communication and marketing team to provide strategic insights.
Track KPIs, campaign impacts, and maintain WP8 records for audits and EC reviews.
Requirements
Education
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communication, Event Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Master's degree in Marketing Management, Digital Communication, Innovation Management, or EU Project Management is considered an asset.
Essential Knowledge and Professional Experience
5 years of experience in a similar role related to marketing and communication, preferably within AI, innovation, or technology sectors.
Additional Knowledge and Professional Experience
Full professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
Working knowledge of Spanish and Catalan, especially in written form, is desirable.
Competences
Proven team management and coordination skills, including assigning priorities and guiding contributors.
Strong organisational and project management skills.
Proven ability to coordinate stakeholders and manage relationships across multidisciplinary teams.
Proven capacity to manage multiple events, campaigns, and deadlines in a fast‐paced environment.
High attention to detail, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and quality.
Strong analytical skills to evaluate performance and translate data into actionable insights.
Proactive, collaborative, and solution‐oriented mindset.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, Spanish, and Catalan.

Contract: Full‐time, 35h/week, open‐ended.
