Description
The On The Road (OTR) Manager (France and Spain) is a pivotal role that maximizes OTR operations and enhances the Delivery Associates (DA) experience.
They excel at leveraging operational and stakeholder relationships, acting as custodians of Delivery Service Providers (DSP) and DA experience at the station level, ensuring high standards of DA engagement and fostering a ‘win-win’ culture between Operations and DSPs.
Key job responsibilities
* Collaborate with OTR safety and site operations to achieve regional safety metrics.
* Lead regional OTR performance improvements and provide weekly visibility to the Regional Leadership Team (RLT), including solutions.
* Deliver regional reports on on-road performance (DSP scorecard / Ops Scorecard).
* Drive improvement activities in key priority areas for the region.
* Develop sustainable business practices that foster a ‘win-win’ culture between Operations and DSPs.
* Coordinate with site operations, Amazon Customer Excellence System (ACES), and Central Operations (CO) to ensure routing efficiency and best practices to improve cost-to-serve.
A day in the life
The OTR manager defines medium-term strategies, leading and influencing both internal and external stakeholders. They work closely with site leaders as a trusted OTR SME partner. The role involves flexible working hours and significant travel between multiple sites weekly, being field-based within an AMXL region.

Amazon Extra Large (AMXL) handles heavy items like furniture and large appliances, managing the entire service from supply chain to delivery and returns. We provide extra customer care, including unpacking, assembly, installation, and old item removal. Our focus on safety, productivity, and innovation is transforming how customers buy and receive large goods.
We plan to expand our fulfillment centers and delivery stations across Europe. The team comprises professionals in operations, supply chain, business intelligence, and program management, all vital to our growth.
Basic Qualifications
* Relevant experience in account management in a fast-paced environment.
* Proficiency in verbal and written English and the local language.
* Experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) in a professional setting.
* Experience using data analytics to solve performance issues.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, or distribution.
* Stakeholder communication experience, including leadership.
* Bachelor’s, master’s, or advanced degree in business management, economics, law, engineering, or supply chain/logistics.
