Here at CORUS we are looking for a IT Business Analyst to join our team in an international insurance project.
Location: Barcelona or Madrid, hybrid (1 day in the office).
You will:
- Define and drive the analysis approach aligned with project and product goals, adapting organizational standards where needed.
- Collaborate with business areas such as Risk Engineering and Underwriting, ensuring a customer-centric vision.
- Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements, reconciling internal and external needs.
- Perform end-to-end analysis of business processes to understand system impacts and dependencies.
- Translate complex problems into clear, actionable insights for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Contribute to functional design (use cases, functional and technical specifications, and other artifacts).
- Work closely with development teams to ensure solutions fully meet business needs.
- Support planning activities, backlog management, and delivery timelines in collaboration with Lead BA and Project Manager.
- Manage stakeholders effectively, communicating with both technical teams and senior business leaders.
- Identify risks and dependencies, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
- Lead and share best practices within the team to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
- Support testing, implementation, training, and post-go-live activities.
- Participate in workshops, brainstorming sessions, and solution design discussions across teams.
- Own assigned topics end-to-end, ensuring alignment with project objectives and strategic priorities.
You should have:
- 3–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in IT or business transformation projects.
- Proven experience in the Insurance sector (Commercial Insurance preferred).
- Strong experience across the full project lifecycle and in large-scale projects.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to simplify complex challenges.
