Procurement has the scale, visibility, and executive sponsorship — what's needed now is a hands-on leader who can execute, transform, and develop talent. brThe Role: brAs Senior Procurement Manager, you will own the day-to-day execution of global procurement, personally leading complex negotiations while driving a significant transformation of tools, processes, and ways of working. brYou will act as both operator and coach: setting standards, building scalable processes, and developing a team of category managers across technology, Saa S, cloud, and professional services spend. brKey Responsibilities: brExecution Deal Leadership brLead or co-lead high-value and complex negotiations across Saa S, cloud, technology, and professional services brManage the full sourcing lifecycle end-to-end: scoping, RFx, evaluation, negotiation, award, and contract execution brDrive a robust pipeline of savings initiatives with clear ownership, timelines, and measurable outcomes brAct as the primary escalation point for supplier issues, contract risks, and active deal challenges Process Systems Transformation brDesign and roll out a scalable global procurement operating model (intake, approvals, P2 P, CLM) brLead the selection, implementation, and adoption of procurement tools (e.g. Coupa, Zip, SAP Ariba or similar) brBuild and embed category playbooks, contract templates, sourcing frameworks, and supplier onboarding standards brEstablish spend visibility, analytics, savings tracking, and vendor performance dashboards brPartner closely with Finance, Legal, and IT to integrate procurement seamlessly into the business Team Development Leadership brAct as hands-on coach to category managers, reviewing deals and elevating negotiation quality brSet clear performance standards and individual development plans brFoster a learning culture through sharing market intelligence, best practices, and negotiation techniques brBuild long-term team capability, enabling category managers to grow into senior, independent operators Candidate Profile: br8–12 years of procurement experience, with 3–4+ years in a senior / lead hands-on role within a technology or Saa S environment brStrong reputation as an executor: pragmatic, delivery-focused, and comfortable operating in fast-paced environments brProven experience leading procurement process or systems transformations brTrack record managing and developing junior or mid-level procurement professionals brDeep expertise across Saa S, cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure), IT hardware, and enterprise software brStrong negotiation experience across complex, multi-year contracts in EU and US contexts brExperience with modern procurement platforms (Coupa, Zip, Ariba, or similar) brHigh analytical capability: spend analysis, savings modelling, and business case development brFluent English required; additional European languages are a plus brCIPS, CPSM, or similar certification valued Why This Role? brThis position will suit someone who: brEnjoys being deep in the detail of negotiations, not only defining strategy brHas strong views on what "good procurement" looks like — and the ability to bring the organisation along brTakes pride in developing people and raising the bar brCan build structure without bureaucracy brMoves fast, communicates clearly, and holds high standards
