Manage the quality control’s strategy of components, raw materials, perfums, bulk and finished products to comply with specifications established by development processes.
\n
To supervise manufacturing activities (both internal and external), ensuring that packaging and products comply with current quality requirements and with all characteristics defined in specifications.

What you'll get to do

Planning
\n
- Coordinate the area team of packaging & production and laboratory, participating in their selection, proposing their training and development and evaluating their performance.
- Lead the packaging and production quality control processes at the Plant.
- Treat reclamations and consumer claims and manage corrective actions.
- Supervise management of equipment and quality control methods.
- Supervise quality risks management of suppliers and subcontractors.
- Define, follow-up and implement the investment projects of the area.
- Develop and propose the area budget. Budget follow-up.
- Ensure technical and human resources needed to fulfill the quality activities in the plant.
- Prevent risks, and establish action plans for new references with the purpose of avoiding or reducing product market complaints.

Execute
\n
- Ensure the release of packaging component, raw materials, perfums, bulk, semi‑finished and finished products.
- Ensure the management of all controls’ activity: incoming controls, process controls and audit controls.
- Carry out the management of all non‑conformities about packaging, raw materials, bulk, and products from a technical point of view.
- Carry out derogation for quality characteristics out of specifications.
- Participate in risk detection, action plans, and quality control planning for new references both within the plant and at suppliers.
- Participate in the development phases of new products together with the packaging, research, and industrialization teams. Presence during industrial trials, CQVs, and their preparation.
- Participate in the development phases of new products together with suppliers to ensure control plans that are coherent with Puig’s quality standards.
- Carry out the Black Belt’s functions: lead the Continuous Improvement Process. Identify improvement opportunities.
- Execute the Quality, Environmental, Occupational Health and Safety and Good Manufacturing Practices policies of the Company.
- Implement and maintain the Skills Development Plan as the plant working system.
- Define and execute the convenient corrective measures so the established internal regulations are met.
- Propose, assist and organize improvement events, monitoring the proper performance of the improvement system throughout Improvement meetings and follow‑up meetings of the same.
- Keep good communication and relationships with other departments.
- Keep informed the Production Plant Director of any anomaly detected, in both personnel or resources level.
- Carry out the IDS and accident investigations concerning his/her responsibility.
- Carry out the IT KU functions.

Control
\n
- Define and follow indicators of quality control and metrology at the plant.
- Ensure compliance with QC packaging, manufacturing and production activities.
- Ensure compliance with norms applied at the plants in term of quality, security, environment, and GMP, and all communications included.
- Manage Metrology of department equipment.
- Follow‑up and control the current Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) regulations applying to the Cosmetics industry.
- Follow‑up and control the investments assigned to the department.
- Follow‑up and control the indicators established in the Continuous Improvement System to meet the established goals.
- Ensure the execution of the action plans established in the Strategic Deployment Plan and monitor them throughout the KPI’s established in the same.
- Ensure the compliance of the established policies of Quality, Environment and Occupational Health and Safety in the area.

- Bachelor Degree (Engineering, management, industrial or similar).
