This role will manage budgeting, track expenditures, and provide accurate forecasts to ensure financial targets are met. The engineer will work closely with accounting, procurement, and project teams to maintain a clear and up-to-date financial picture of the project. This position requires strong attention to detail, clear communication, and the ability to manage changing priorities. Spanish language skills are important to support collaboration with team members on site.Day-to-Day Responsibilities:• Develop and manage project budgets, forecasts, and cost control plans.• Track and report project spending to ensure alignment with approved budgets.• Monitor changes and update financial forecasts accordingly.• Work with accounting and procurement teams to verify costs and commitments.• Maintain accurate cost records and ensure financial transparency throughout the project.• Communicate project financial status and forecasts to stakeholders.Must Have Skills:Strong cost control and budgeting experience, Excel proficiency, project cost forecasting skills, and Spanish language fluency.Bonus / Nice to Have:Experience supporting large capital projects.
