For our offices in Alcobendas, we are currently looking for a Regional Category Manager Logistics Warehouse Packaging Services WEMEA. Main Responsibilities :
* Lead the creation and implementation of procurement strategies for regional Logistics & Warehousing subcategories (road freight, packaging, and warehousing) in the WEMEA Region.
* Support regional implementation of procurement strategies for global Logistics & Warehousing subcategories (airfreight, sea freight, and courier).
* Identify and realize cost-saving potential; set and control saving targets for relevant categories.
* Lead negotiations, ensure contract management, and drive procurement activities as regional category manager.
* Continuously optimize procurement processes and related key figures.
* Manage and support process changes impacting financial and operational aspects of GEA.
* Understand tendering processes and negotiate with transportation and warehousing providers.
* Understand logistics rate card structures and cost components.
* Identify savings opportunities during operational day-to-day activities.
Your Profile / Qualifications :
* Master's or Bachelor's degree in a business-related field.
* At least 5 years of strategic procurement experience.
* Experience working with cross-functional and international teams.
* Strong analytical skills, data capabilities, problem-solving skills, and strategic thinking.
* Ownership of work successes and mistakes.
