About The Role
As a Senior Fluid Systems Engineer you will report to the ANAV Supervisor Engineer and be located at the Vila-seca, Tarragona offices. This is a full‑time hybrid position with a mix of 70% on‑site and 30% remote days that may be set at your discretion.
Responsibilities
* Perform thermal‑hydraulic and piping networks engineering design
* Develop pump, valve, tank, heat exchanger, HVAC, or other equipment sizing requirements for plant design or modifications
* Identify technical issues and propose practical solutions for assigned projects and tasks
* Support engineering staff in multiple design and analysis activities
* Coordinate with other disciplines, including I&C, electrical, civil/structural, licensing, and layout, across diverse projects and design changes
* Communicate progress, technical challenges, and result to the technical lead and project management
* Collaborate with construction, I&C, electrical, and operations teams, representing the discipline both internally and externally
* Participate in customer, vendor, and regulatory meetings, presenting technical material and explaining design decisions
* Complete work within defined scope, budget, and schedule constraints
Qualifications
* Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Nuclear)
* Master's degree in Nuclear Engineering is valued
* 10+ years of experience in a similar role
* Proficiency with MathCad, MATLAB, VBA, FATHOM or ARROW
* Familiarity with ASME, ANSI, ASHRAE, NFP or API standards
* Fluent in Spanish and English
* Ability to travel to Westinghouse or customer sites (international travel included)
