Key Account Manager - Commercial Operations Maritime Services

The Key Account Manager will lead the onboarding of new clients and ensure an excellent operational experience throughout the entire business relationship. The selected person will be responsible for coordinating processes, managing the operational relationship with clients, and ensuring compliance with service level agreements (SLAs).
Key Responsibilities:
Onboarding & Coordination:
* Guide the entire onboarding process.
* Present methodology, processes, and communication channels to new clients.
* Adjust resources and processes according to client needs.
Contracts & Tariff Agreements:
* Define and implement SLAs and procedures.
* Maintain approved rates and collaborate closely with Operations.
* Monitor KPIs and manage deviations.
Client Operational Relationship:
* Conduct regular meetings and build a relationship of trust.
* Oversee PDAs and ensure compliance with specific requirements.
* Continuously monitor service quality.
Port Service Supervision:
* Track performance and manage escalations.
* Maintain ongoing reviews with Operations to identify improvements.
* Prepare reports and analyses based on real data.
* Lead initiatives aimed at service optimization.
* Present insights and added value during commercial meetings.

* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management, Marketing, Economics, Engineering (in technical sectors), or other related fields aligned with the company’s industry.
* Master’s degree in Marketing, Sales, Commercial Management, or Account Management.
* 3–5 years of experience in a similar role.
* Strong analytical and communication skills.
* Ability to manage cross-functional coordination.
* Customer-centric mindset with a focus on service excellence.
* Proficiency in SLA management and KPI tracking.
* Experience in maritime or logistics operations is a plus.
