Research Position DetailsINMA invites applications for a Established (R3) or Leading (R4) researcher position in AI applied to Nanoscience and Materials Science, with emphasis on Nanobiomedicine, Quantum Technologies, or Materials for Energy and the Environment within the Severo Ochoa Research Excellence Programme. The candidate is expected to contribute to translating nanomaterial research into societal solutions.
INMA is a leading research institute with strategic priorities in Nanobiomedicine, Quantum Technologies, and Materials for Energy and the Environment. It hosts about 350 people, including over 260 researchers across 20 research groups. Facilities include advanced equipment for materials synthesis, characterization, and biomedical applications. Recognized as a Severo Ochoa Centre of Excellence (2024-2029), INMA promotes excellent research, diversity, and innovation.

Skills/QualificationsSeeking highly motivated, independent leading researchers (R3/R4) with experience in AI, nanoscience, and materials science. Candidates should have a strong publication record, experience in European/international research, and the ability to work systematically and collaboratively.
