We’re looking for a Systems Engineer to join an innovative, high-profile project based in Madrid, working in a hybrid model within a stable, forward-thinking, and collaborative environment.
What We’re Looking For
* Experience: 2 years as a Systems Engineer in defense, aerospace, or other high‑criticality environments.
* Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Systems Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunications, or related fields.
Requirements
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Systems Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunications, or related field.
* 2 years of experience in systems engineering within defense, aerospace, or high-reliability environments.
* Strong understanding of requirements engineering, model-based systems engineering (MBSE), and systems architecture.
* Experience with tools such as DOORS, Enterprise Architect, or Cameo Systems Modeler.
* Familiarity with embedded systems, firmware/software integration, and communication protocols.
* Fluent in English; Spanish is a plus.
Responsibilities
* Analyze and define system-level requirements, ensuring traceability throughout the development lifecycle.
* Design and document system architectures, interfaces, and integration strategies.
* Coordinate and lead system integration activities across hardware, firmware, and software domains.
* Develop and maintain technical specifications, interface control documents (ICDs), and system design descriptions.
* Support verification and validation (V&V) processes, including test planning, execution, and reporting.
* Collaborate with project managers, engineering teams, and clients to ensure technical coherence and delivery milestones.
* Participate in risk analysis, trade-off studies, and design reviews.
* Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., MIL-STD, DO-178C, DO-254, ISO/IEC).
* Contribute to continuous improvement of systems engineering processes and tools.
