Experteer OverviewIn this role you ensure the electrical, mechanical, and fire safety systems in AWS data centers run with 100% availability. You'll work with cross-functional teams to maintain critical infrastructure while delivering strong customer service to internal groups. You'll lead large, high-impact projects from concept to completion and drive innovation, resiliency, and cost efficiency in facilities. This position offers the chance to shape operations across regions and contribute to AWS's mission of reliable cloud infrastructure.
Compensaciones / Beneficios
* Train and support Engineering team on electrical/mechanical troubleshooting and operations
* Lead site- or equipment-specific training for critical systems (generators, switchgear, UPS, PDUs, AHUs, chillers)
* Oversee day-to-day operation and maintenance of data center mechanical/electrical equipment
* Operate independently with limited direct management
* Assist in design and build-out of new facilities
* Serve as escalation point for facilities-related issues within data center region
* Perform root cause analysis of equipment failures and document weekly reports
* Develop and deploy standard practices for Engineering Operations Technicians, Chief Engineers, and vendor teams
* Ensure safety procedures are followed by vendors and AWS staff
* Work OT as needed for site stability
Responsabilidades
* Bachelor in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
* Vendor management experience
* Data center or other critical environment experience
* Data center engineering or operations experience
* Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
