Role Overview
We are seeking a Data Steward to deliver insights on a daily basis. The idóneo candidate will have expertise in Enterprise Data Governance and will serve as the primary liaison between the global data governance team and business units to ensure alignment with Enterprise Data Governance (EDG) processes, rules, and standards.
Minimum Qualifications
- 5-10+ years of experience in Data Governance or Data Management within a global CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) company, Supply Chain, or similar industry.
- Strong background in data management, including data ingestion, proper data use/consumption, data quality, and stewardship.
- Experience with Azure Data Stewardship, Data management frameworks such as DAMA-DMBOK, and data governance tools like Alterxy and Informatica.
- Proficiency with Data Visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI.
- Experience working in Agile environments, participating in sprints, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to partner with both business and technical subject matter experts to ensure standardization and implementation of data governance policies.
- Preferred experience with Informatica (EDC, Axon, IDQ) and intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
Responsibilities
- Support strategic initiatives that depend on Supply Chain & Product data.
- Develop and implement data governance policies and standards.
- Ensure compliance with data regulations and internal policies.
- Facilitate data stewardship meetings and maintain documentation.
- Monitor data quality metrics and perform assessments.
- Identify and resolve data quality issues.
- Implement data cleansing processes and procedures.
- Manage the data lifecycle from creation to archival or deletion.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and usage.
- Provide insights on data trends and usage through regular reporting.
- Support data-driven decision-making processes across the organization.
