Marketing & Communications Executive (On-site)

Location: OKU Andalusia, Costa del Sol – a five‑star resort just minutes from Sotogrande, opening in summer 2025.

This role supports the execution of the hotel’s marketing, communications, social media, PR and events strategy, ensuring the OKU brand is represented consistently across all guest‑facing and promotional channels.

Responsibilities
* Support the implementation of marketing and communications initiatives in line with brand objectives.
* Create, edit and publish engaging content across multiple channels, including social media, website, email marketing, brochures and promotional materials.
* Manage day‑to‑day social media activity on Instagram and Facebook, including content planning, publishing, community management and performance monitoring.
* Coordinate PR activities, including media outreach, press visits, influencer collaborations and hosting opportunities.
* Capture and create photo, video and short‑form content to support social media, PR and marketing campaigns.
* Assist with the planning, promotion and execution of hotel events, activations and partnerships.
* Support the creation of marketing collateral and visual assets using Canva and Adobe Creative Suite.
* Maintain website content and support digital marketing campaigns.
* Coordinate and host media, influencer and partner visits to the hotel, ensuring a seamless brand experience.
* Collaborate with operational departments to identify and promote compelling guest experiences and brand stories.
* Assist in the preparation of award submissions, newsletters, interviews, presentations and other communication materials.
* Monitor market trends, competitor activity and social media performance to identify opportunities for growth and engagement.
* Ensure all communications and marketing materials are aligned with OKU brand guidelines.
* Work closely with the Head of Brand & Communications and wider commercial teams on local and group‑wide marketing initiatives.
Candidate Requirements
* Previous experience in a Marketing, Communications, Social Media, PR or related role, ideally within luxury hospitality, lifestyle, travel or premium consumer brands.
* A hands‑on, proactive and versatile marketing professional capable of balancing content creation, communications, PR, events and social media responsibilities.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Excellent English is essential; additional languages, particularly Spanish, will be highly valued.
* Proven experience creating content for digital and social media platforms.
* Strong knowledge of Instagram and Facebook content creation, publishing, community management, Reels and short‑form video content.
* Experience using Adobe programs is essential; Adobe Creative Suite preferred.
* Experience using Canva is essential.
* Strong copywriting skills across multiple formats including social media captions, website content, brochures, flyers, award submissions, email newsletters, interviews and promotional materials.
* Experience supporting events, partnerships, PR activities or influencer collaborations.
* Knowledge of SevenRooms or similar event and guest engagement platforms is preferred.
* Experience with platforms such as WordPress, Revinate, SiteMinder or Sprout Social would be beneficial, although training can be provided.
* Highly organised, detail‑oriented and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Creative mindset combined with strong execution and administrative skills.

Technical Skills and Knowledge
* Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator preferred).
* Canva.
* Social media management and content creation tools.
* Microsoft Office Suite.
* Basic understanding of digital marketing and analytics.
* Familiarity with content management systems and email marketing platforms.
* Knowledge of hospitality marketing trends and luxury brand communications. xpzdshu
