About the Role:
An opportunity has arisen for an Income Auditor position to join our Finance department in Jumeirah Mallorca.
The main duties and responsibilities of this role are:
* Audit and reconcile daily revenues from all hotel outlets and systems, ensuring accuracy between front office, F&B, Spa, POS, and other revenue streams.
* Verify transactions and internal controls, including cashiers' reports, discounts, allowances, complimentary items, and staff-related postings.
* Prepare, analyze, and circulate financial reports such as daily income audit summaries, variance analyses, rebates, and incentive/commission postings for management review.
* Conduct surprise audits and compliance checks across outlets, cash floats, open folios, and rejected or disputed charges, ensuring adherence to hotel policies.
* Support month-end closing and financial operations, reconciling ledgers, posting journal entries, assisting with management reviews, and cross-training for coverage and process improvement.
About You:
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following qualifications:
* Degree or vocational training in Finance, Accounting, Hotel Management, or a related field.
* Proven experience as an Income Auditor, preferably within a luxury or 5-star hotel environment.
* Strong understanding of hotel revenue streams, night audit processes, and internal financial controls.
* Experience working with hotel systems such as Opera, Micros, and financial accounting systems.
* High level of English, with strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while supporting the Finance team.
