Field Service Engineer I&C for turbomachinery
At MAN Energy Solutions Spain, we are seeking an I&C Commissioning Field Service Engineer to join our PrimeServ Industries department.
This role involves supervising and executing field service work, both onshore and offshore in Spain and across Europe.
Key responsibilities include:
* Performing basic control system work and adjustments during service and overhauls on turbomachinery and auxiliary systems
* Installing, testing, and commissioning process control systems on new and existing turbomachines and ancillary systems
* Adjusting and replacing instruments, transmitters, positioners, PLCs, controllers, and other control equipment
* Implementing software modifications and making changes in control and visualization systems per MAN requirements
* Commissioning field instrumentation, including calibration checks, loop-checks, motor control centers, motors, and control valves
* Troubleshooting and resolving issues with control systems, remote data transfer systems, and other control equipment
* Checking and adjusting start-up interlock alarms and shutdown systems (engine protection) in collaboration with mechanical commissioning engineers
Qualifications required:
* Strong knowledge of regulation and control technology (PCS7, Allen Bradley, etc.)
* Professional experience in worldwide commissioning and in the turbomachinery sector
* Willingness to take responsibility and work independently
* Ability to work effectively in a team
* Availability to travel for technical assignments within Spain and Europe (minimum of 150 days per year)
* Fluency in English
* Good command of Spanish or willingness to learn
