We are looking for a motivated and proactive Assistant Marketing Manager to support and implement sales and marketing strategies with a strong focus on the hospitality and sports tourism sectors. This role is ideal for a commercially driven professional who enjoys building client relationships, and is eager to grow brand visibility and revenue in both domestic and international markets.Your responsibilitiesMARKETINGPlan, execute, and monitor marketing campaigns aimed at leisure travelers, corporate clients, and sports organizationsSupport the management of social media platforms and create engaging content to promote the resorts’ offerings and facilitiesConduct market and competitor analysis to propose innovative actions and positioning strategiesCreate, update, and manage content for online and offline platformsOversee the sourcing and management of merchandise and branded materialsCoordinate and supervise corporate photo and video shootsEnsure brand consistency across all marketing materials and communication channelsCollaborate with internal teams to develop promotional campaigns and event-related communicationsLead the Playitas Nature team, including implementation and follow-up of yearly objectivesCoordinate the Travelife sustainability certification processSALES BUSINESS DEVELOPMENTIdentify and engage potential B2B clients such as corporate groups, travel agencies, sports federations, and event plannersSupport the creation of customized proposals and packages for events, retreats, camps, and group bookings.Maintain a structured sales pipeline and conduct regular follow-ups with leads and partnersRepresent the resort at tourism fairs, industry workshops, and networking events to drive lead generationWork closely with the reservations and operations teams to ensure seamless delivery of group bookingsMonitor and analyze market trends to identify opportunities for sales growth and positioningPromote cross-selling and upselling opportunities to maximize guest revenue and satisfactionRequirementsDegree in Marketing, Business, Tourism, or a related fieldMinimum of 2 years of experience in sales, marketing, and/or commercial roles, ideally within the hospitality or tourism industryStrong commercial acumen and a customer-centric mindset.Excellent verbal and written communication skillsAvailability to travel and to work flexible schedules based on business needsFluent in English (mandatory); German highly valued; Spanish or other European languages are a plusConfident in managing social media platforms and familiar with digital marketing tools and trendsKnowledge of SEO, SEM, Google Analytics, and Email Marketing.Proficient with design and content tools (e.g., Adobe Suite, Canva, CapCut).Highly organized, with strong multitasking abilities and a proactive, team-oriented attitude.Affinity for sports and active lifestyle is a plus.If you are the ideal person for this job and a sports enthusiast, send your CV to jobs@playitas.net!
