Join our dynamic team as a Tax Professional, where you will play a pivotal role in our central tax function. You will oversee the entire tax compliance process, from data collection and tax return preparation to managing audits and liaising with external consultants and regulatory authorities. How You’ll Make an Impact
You will manage and ensure full corporate tax compliance for assigned jurisdictions, covering both direct and indirect taxes.
You will execute quarterly and year-end tax closing processes, including the calculation of current and deferred tax provisions.
You will coordinate and review tax compliance activities performed by external consultants to ensure accuracy and completeness.
You will provide timely and proactive tax advice to senior management and internal business partners on various transactions and initiatives.
You will assist in the preparation and maintenance of local transfer pricing documentation and contribute to process improvement initiatives within the tax function.
What You Bring
You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Law, or a related field.
You have a minimum of 5 years of professional experience in tax compliance, preferably within a ‘Big 4’ firm or a large multinational corporation.
Strong knowledge of special tax regime in Basque Country and Navarra (Spain).
Digital skills based on IA and process transformation.
You possess strong knowledge of tax compliance (direct and indirect), tax accounting and reporting (e.G., IFRS/local GAAP), and transfer pricing principles.
You have advanced English proficiency (C1 level) and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
You are willing to travel within Spain, especially during peak work periods such as audits and tax presentations.
About the Team
You will be joining a young and growing team within Siemens CFO, focusing on tax and customs in Spain. Based primarily in Madrid, our team is spread across three hubs and manages over 30 entities, each with unique tax requirements. The team collaborates closely with international partners, particularly in the wind power sector, and is committed to internalizing tax processes and enhancing compliance efforts.
