Responsibilities
As an AI Engineer, you will:
* Take end‑to‑end ownership of AI‑centric technical products and projects
* Build and deploy machine learning systems that address real‑world commercial challenges
* Translate business problems into well‑framed AI opportunities
* Challenge existing processes to drive innovation and improve outcomes
* Stay up to date with fast‑moving AI advancements
* Make an immediate impact — you will be trusted and empowered from day one
What Our Client Is Looking For
We are seeking candidates with strong theoretical grounding AND hands‑on experience:
* Deep understanding of machine learning fundamentals
* Experience deploying LLMs in production (prompting, agent workflows, retrieval pipelines, evals, etc.)
* Knowledge of LLM inference techniques (KV caching, speculative/parallel decoding, etc.)
* Strong programming skills in Python + one of C++, Java or .NET
* SQL experience
* Experience with Azure or AWS
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
* An entrepreneurial mindset with a bias for action
* Ability to manage AI projects end‑to‑end
* Financial services experience is a plus (not essential)
* Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or similar from a reputable university
