The English Academy, Tarragona is looking for a qualified English teacher to join our team from September 2026.
Established in 2007, we are a family-run English academy dedicated to helping children, teenagers and adults develop confidence and fluency in English. We specialise in Cambridge exam preparation and believe that students learn best in a positive, supportive and engaging environment.
We are proud of our small-group approach, with a maximum of 8 students per class, allowing teachers to focus on meaningful communication, individual progress and strong relationships with their students. We provide all teaching materials and foster a collaborative atmosphere where teachers are valued, supported and encouraged to share ideas.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and professional teacher with native-level or bilingual English proficiency who enjoys working with learners of all ages and levels. The ideal candidate will be passionate about language education, committed to high teaching standards and motivated to help students achieve their goals.
What We Offer
* Part-time position (16–20 teaching hours per week)
* Salary: €1,024–€1,280 per month, depending on teaching hours

Requirements
* Native-level or bilingual English proficiency
* CELTA, TEFL or equivalent teaching qualification
* Previous experience teaching English as a foreign language
* Experience preparing students for Cambridge English Qualifications is highly desirable
* Availability to work afternoons and evenings, Monday to Friday
* Commitment to the full academic year (September–June)
* Legal right to work in Spain
Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging lessons for learners of different ages and levels
* Prepare students for Cambridge English examinations
* Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback
* Adapt lessons to meet students’ individual needs
* Complete term reports for primary and secondary students
* Contribute positively to the academy’s collaborative and student-focused environment
