Job Objective: Guarantee the quality of the productions and the fulfillment of the specifications required by our clients in order to comply with the regulations and allow a correct assurance of quality within the company.Primary Responsibilities: · Performs the analysis of customer's non-conformities based on the results of the samples and their traceability, in order to establish the root cause, solve the problem and respond to customers. It is also your responsibility to prepare claims reports (Non-Quality Costs and other quality indicators).· Register and monitor the corrective and preventive actions of nonconformities in products, processes and systems.· Ensures the validity and compliance of quality assurance systems in all shifts involved in the production and shipping process· Manages the destination of the retained materials and prepares reports on them (Non-Quality Costs and others KPI’s).· Approve and supervise the opening of new products and modifications, ensuring that specifications and requirements are correctly defined.· Performs periodic Process Audits and generates its corresponding reports and action plans· Manages and define the destination of all materials from customer returns · Prepares and ensures the maintenance of visual standards.· Defines the significant, critical and / or product safety characteristics and do the process capacity of the productive processes (Cp & Cpk).· To work together with an appointed multidisciplinary team on the development of new products, processes and/or systems and to ensure that all tests and actions that are required for their correct approval in accordance with current quality standards and client requirements are carried out.· To draw up and ensures the validity of the control plans, self-controls and control guidelines and to ensure that they are applied.· To take actions, based on information generated by previous activities, in order to eliminate, minimize and prevent non-conformities.Qualifications:· Sound knowledge of statistics and quality tools.· Good knowledge of the ISO 9001 standard, preferably IATF 16949 and ISO 13485.· Good knowledge of conducting process audits.· Good office software skills (Microsoft Office).· Educated to university level or similar level (a degree in Textile, Chemistry and/or Industrial engineering).· Accustomed to and skilled in working as part of a multidisciplinary project team. Experience of working in the automotive or medical industries preferable.· Good level of English (writing and speaking/conversation), minimum First certification, desired Advance level. · knowledge of the materials and processes used in the manufacture of industrial products and processes.· Experience will be valued accredited as a Quality Engineer in an industrial environment.
