Juniper Group, the European division of Vela Software (a part of CSI), headquartered in Palma de Mallorca, Spain, is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to join our expanding team. The role involves participating in acquisition activities across Europe, focusing on sectors like travel, insurance, banking, healthcare, public sector, and oil & gas.

Responsibilities
* Supervise, consolidate, and control the financial and administrative aspects of all Juniper Group companies
* Monitor, analyze, and consolidate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
* Review reports from various business units for consolidation
* Support internal and external audits as required
* Automate processes to improve reporting efficiency
* Assist in preparing quarterly budgets and analyzing variances
* Analyze expenses and revenues to identify improvements
* Train and support personnel, including newly acquired companies
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, or related field
* Advanced Excel skills
* Experience in a similar financial role, preferably with M&A exposure
* Native Spanish speaker and/or financial proficiency in Spanish
* Knowledge of German (spoken and written) is desirable
* Strong leadership and teamwork skills
* Organized, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines under pressure
* Proficiency with financial software and IFRS standards
* Analytical mindset with thorough accounting knowledge
* Proactive with a capacity to suggest improvements
* Ability to produce reports in English, both financial and managerial
