Job Description
Seeking 3 Quality Technician/Inspectors to be based on-site supporting a customer program in Bilbao, Spain for 2 to 3 weeks
The desired candidates will have previous experience in working in an Aerospace Quality Inspection role, performing inspection to engineering drawings, customer purchase order, industry standards and specifications, defining/containing non-conformance when identified by Receipt Inspection or by Customer.
The support will include
Visual, documentation and packaging checksPart serialisation checksDimensional inspection of suspect partsReview and approval (stamp-off) of CofCsWork with internal logistics to ensure affected material is quarantined and returned to supplier as requiredEvaluate customer complaints with internal quality/ME team and launch containment if required
Experience requirements
Must have a minimum of 3-years previous experience within an aerospace manufacturing environmentStrong hands-on inspection experience, using various mechanical inspection tools, such as micrometers and calipersKnowledge / experience of AS9100 standards highly advantageousStrong communications skills, both written and verbalPrevious experience of SAP and Microsoft Office tools (Excel and Word) advantageousAbility to prioritise workload, and meet stringent deadlinesIdeally based in a commutable distance of BilbaoCommunication will be in English and or Spanish
