Chase, allocate (premiums and taxes), monitor, and report overdue premiums to the Credit Control Manager.Collaborate with local Financial Operations teams and underwriting departments to assist with premium collection or renewals of outstanding debts.Monitor aged debt, analyze trends, and implement improvements in credit control practices and systems.Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Interact proactively with European branches regarding allocation and collection processes.Assist in producing weekly credit control reports and analyses.Manage issuance of monthly statements to brokers and coordinate on outstanding premiums.Support the development of new reports aligned with company and regulatory requirements.Help develop credit control systems and understand booking systems.Assist in cash collection analysis and management of cash received and unallocated cash.Ensure proper declaration, entry, and splitting of taxes for cash allocations.Follow up on outgoing payments and ensure invoice alignment with allocations.Administer lead fee invoices and VAT declarations within the finance team.Experience and Skills
2-3 years of relevant experience in credit control processes, reconciliation, and Lloyd’s/London Market reporting.Experience with building and maintaining credit control procedures and systems.Knowledge of underwriting processes, controls, and systems.Proficiency in systems & tools such as Eclipse, Vyper, MS Office (Excel at an advanced level), Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.Starr is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion.
