We are looking for an experienced Health & Safety professional to lead and coordinate H& S activities across Europe and the Middle East within a customer-facing, multi-site environment. The role will focus on developing and implementing health, safety and wellbeing programs across a network of locations and offices, ensuring compliance with local regulations and internal standards, and promoting a strong safety culture across the organization.The position will be based in Madrid and will work closely with Operations, HR, Facilities, Security and external partners.Key ResponsibilitiesHealth & Safety

Develop, implement and monitor Health &
\n
• Safety policies and procedures across multiple countries and sites.Conduct regular inspections, risk assessments and audits to ensure legal and internal compliance (including general safety, fire safety, ergonomics and psychosocial risks).Monitor regulatory compliance and prepare H&
\n
• S reports and documentation.Work closely with local managers, regional teams, HR and other stakeholders to identify risks and implement corrective actions.Design and deliver H&

• S training programs, including emergency procedures, safety protocols and injury prevention.Maintain accurate records of incidents, training and H&

• S activities.Develop and implement emergency response and evacuation plans.Oversee incident reporting and accident investigation processes, including root cause analysis.Coordinate occupational health surveillance and wellbeing initiatives.Ensure external contractors and suppliers comply with H&

• S standards.Participate in employee Health &

• Safety committees where applicable.Promote health, safety and wellbeing awareness campaigns across the organization.Stay up to date with H&

• Safety matters across the region.Liaise with regulatory authorities and external organizations when required.

Help implement a consistent maintenance management process across the network, including issue reporting, prioritization, escalation and follow-up.Coordinate with local teams and external service providers to ensure efficient and compliant maintenance services.Support vendor management to ensure quality, compliance and cost control. Minimum 5 years of experience in a Health &
\n
• Safety role with regional or multi-site responsibility.Experience in sectors with customer-facing environments such as retail, hospitality, banking, or similar environments where both employees and customers are present.Health &
\n
• Safety education and relevant certifications.Strong knowledge of H&
\n
• S regulations and risk assessment methodologies.Experience conducting audits, risk assessments and implementing action plans.Experience delivering H&
\n
• S training programs.Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.Analytical mindset and problem-solving abilities.Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, multi-country environment.Proactive, autonomous and hands-on approach.Willingness to travel across Europe and the Middle East (less than 50%).Fluent English required
