Responsibilities
* Trim, water, and prepare flowers for display.
* Receive flowers from suppliers, verify correct quantities, refuse flowers that are not in acceptable condition, and log received flowers.
* Design and create custom floral arrangements for public areas, restaurant outlets, banquets and guest rooms.
* Deliver flowers and floral displays/arrangements to customers, property sites or off‑site locations.
* Follow up with customers or departments to ensure orders are delivered as requested.
* Coordinate site set‑up of floral displays/arrangements.
* Keep the storeroom neat and clean at all times and follow the checklist for cleaning the shop before closing.
* Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to the manager; complete safety training and certifications.
* Follow all company policies and procedures; maintain a clean, professional appearance and confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets.
* Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards; anticipate and address guests’ service needs and thank guests with genuine appreciation.
* Speak with others using clear, professional language; answer telephones with appropriate etiquette.
* Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others and comply with quality assurance expectations and standards.
* Perform physical tasks such as reaching, bending, twisting, pulling, stooping, grasping, turning; manipulate objects; move up and down stairs or service ramps; lift or carry objects weighing ≤ 25 lb; stand, sit, or walk for extended periods of time.
* Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.
