The primary goal of the Global Head of Compliance Assurance, Monitoring & Testing is to lead the second‑line‑of‑defense function, ensuring the rigorous, data‑driven assessment of Financial Crime controls (AML/CFT, Sanctions) across Ebury. This position is critical for strengthening governance, minimizing financial crime risks, and ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. You will be responsible for enhancing the Quality Assurance Framework by incorporating advanced data analytics processes and AI tools to drive effective coverage.
Responsibilities
Perform a bottom up review of the existing framework, ensuring that it remains fit for purpose and forward looking, making recommendations to uplift practices where appropriate.
Plan, execute, and monitor all phases of the Financial Crime Quality Assurance (FCQA) framework across the business.
Manage and perform second‑line‑of‑defense FCC QA assessments, including the design and operational effectiveness testing of key financial crime controls.
Oversee remediations and recommendation implementations, providing actionable feedback to the first and second line of defence.
Provide ongoing updates to relevant stakeholders including all governance committees. xpzdshu
Perform event driven and thematic reviews in areas of compliance as directed by the business, providing feedback and recommended actions.
