To drive commercial performance and strategic growth in the region, they are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Director for the EU region .
Position Summary
The Sales Director – EU Region will be responsible for developing and executing the regional sales strategy, managing key accounts, and leading a high-performing sales team across Europe. This role will report to global leadership and play a critical part in achieving business growth, market expansion, and customer satisfaction. The position is remote, based in Spain, with frequent travel to customer sites and regional offices.
Key Responsibilities
Define and implement the sales strategy across the EU region to achieve revenue, market share, and profitability goals
Lead and manage the regional sales team, ensuring strong execution, pipeline development, and performance management
Build and maintain relationships with key OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, distributors, and strategic partners
Identify and develop new business opportunities across both mature and emerging markets in the region
Collaborate closely with marketing, product management, finance, and operations to align sales efforts with overall business goals
Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to adjust strategies as needed
Drive forecasting, pricing strategy, and contract negotiations
Provide regular reporting and analysis to senior leadership on sales performance, KPIs, and market intelligence
Qualifications
10+ years of sales experience in the automotive sector, with at least 5 years in a regional or leadership role
Proven track record of driving sales growth and managing large customer accounts in a multi-country setting
Strong understanding of automotive supply chain dynamics, customer requirements, and regional market differences
Strategic thinker with hands-on execution capabilities
Experience in leading and motivating cross-border, multicultural teams
Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills
Fluent in English ; additional European languages are a plus
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field; MBA or equivalent preferred
