The Global Product Experience team creates groundbreaking user experiences across Siri markets using natural language processing (NLP) and machine learning (ML). As part of this group, you will work in one of the most exciting environments with state‐of‐the‐art ML and NLP models applied to production problems. You will have the opportunity to innovate with multilingual NLP models to help Siri understand different languages and user queries better In Integral Siri, we are responsible for the end‐to‐end user experience in all Siri markets. You should be able to work with large‐scale systems, write high quality code and be comfortable contributing to existing systems and developing new ones. Define and experiment with prompt engineering strategies to target specific internationalization challenges
Independently design and execute modeling experiments to validate training methodologies and model architectures
Develop mechanisms to automate data creation and data filtering across different languages
Devise automated approaches to evaluate the performance of agents across multiple languages
Build and ship ML‐based products at high quality for worldwide Apple customers
Experience with multilingual data, machine translation and understanding of the complexities and tradeoffs involved when scaling to non‐English languages.
Proficiency in Python and modern ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch or JAX.
MS or PhD or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning or related field
Experience with or strong interest in agents, tool‐use, planning and multi‐step reasoning
Experience shipping production‐grade ML or DL based applications.
Optionally experience with building on‐device software and models.
