Our diverse team of 200+ employees is based across Aarhus, Copenhagen, Atlanta, Hamburg, Oslo, Dhaka, and Málaga, combining creativity and innovation with organizational stability.Our clients include The New York Times, Hearst, Gannett, The Economist, JP Politikens Hus, Mediahuis, The Hindu, and others.What you'll be doingAs a software engineer in the CUE Print team, you will develop and maintain our print publishing system in C++, optimize functionalities, collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams, participate in code reviews, and contribute to system modernization.Key responsibilitiesImplement new features focusing on accessibility, performance, and maintainability.Participate in the full software lifecycle, develop solutions aligned with product vision, analyze requirements, and write technical specifications.Conduct code reviews and uphold high-quality standards.Prioritize security best practices and data protection.Work with cross-functional teams to develop comprehensive solutions and ensure customer satisfaction.Stay updated with the latest software development trends and practices.What you'll bringA B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent, with at least 4 years of experience in software development.Experience with C++ and familiarity with current standards and algorithms.Knowledge of software architecture, optimization, and managing large codebases.Experience with version control systems like Git, Bitbucket, and Atlassian tools.Experience with automated testing and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.Comfortable in agile environments, capable of working independently and in teams.Ability to set technical directions, mentor others, and promote best practices.Understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and development best practices.What we offerParticipation in a dynamic, international, and multicultural team of skilled professionals.️Hybrid working model:
