Job Description: Financial Controller at Juniper Group
Juniper Group, the European arm of Vela Software and part of Constellation Software Inc. (CSI), is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of one of the most active software acquirers worldwide, focusing on various vertical markets including travel, insurance, banking, healthcare, public sector, and oil & gas.
Responsibilities:
* Supervise, consolidate, and control the financial and administrative operations of all companies within Juniper Group.
* Monitor, analyze, and consolidate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings.
* Review and analyze reports from different business units for consolidation.
* Support internal and external audits requested by the parent company.
* Automate processes to reduce reporting time and enhance analysis capabilities.
* Assist in constructing quarterly budgets and monitor variances.
* Analyze expenses and revenues to propose improvements for revenue increase and expense reduction.
* Support and train personnel across Juniper Group entities, including newly acquired companies.
Qualifications:
* Degree in Business Administration, Economics, or related field.
* Advanced proficiency in Excel.
* Proven experience in a similar financial role, with knowledge of sell-side or buy-side transactions.
* Native Spanish speaker and/or financial language proficiency.
* German language skills are desirable.
* Strong leadership and teamwork abilities.
* Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of meeting deadlines under pressure.
* Willingness to learn specialized financial software.
* Excellent analytical skills and thorough knowledge of accounting principles, IFRS standards.
* Ability to produce reports in English, both financial and control.
